Hello!

Right now, all five members of our co-op are in London at one of our twice-yearly planning meetups. Someone said this morning that “we should set up a newsletter” and, in the spirit of perfect being the enemy of done, here’s the first issue!

Welcome to our Minimum Viable Newsletter (MVN). It hasn’t even got a proper name yet, because we’d like you to help shape it. Bryan did draw an image for it, though, because that’s what he does:

As we’re sure you’re aware, there’s loads of newsletters where people and organisations share interesting links and things they’ve come across. That’s awesome, but we want to do more than inform you, we want to help you learn.

So… what can we help you with?

Here’s some suggestions, based on our previous work with clients:

  • How do you run a thinkathon?
  • Isn’t working openly a bit dangerous? Won’t competitors/colleagues just steal my ideas?
  • Now that Open Badges are more established, what’s the best way for my organisation to get started with them?

We’re looking forward to hearing from you — just hit reply!

PS If you’ve got an idea for what we should call this newsletter, let us know!

PPS As this hits your inbox, Laura is working on a tools page that we’re going to add to. Check it out!
